Job Description

As a Private Client Advisor at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will be at the forefront of helping clients achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen client relationships by providing comprehensive financial planning and advice.
  • Manage and grow a book of business by acquiring new clients and retaining existing relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews to understand clients' objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situations.
  • Recommend suitable investment products, banking solutions, and services tailored to client needs.
  • Educate clients on market trends, economic outlooks, and various investment vehicles.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., specialists in lending, mortgages, trust services) to offer holistic solutions.
  • Adhere strictly to all regulatory requirements, compliance policies, and ethical standards.
  • Monitor client portfolios and provide regular performance reviews and adjustments as needed.
  • Participate in community involvement and business development activities to expand network and client base.
  • Stay informed on current financial industry trends, products, and services.

Required Skills

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses are required prior to hire.
  • Life and Health Insurance licenses are required prior to hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services with a proven track record in client relationship management and sales.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial planning principles, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High degree of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or progress towards obtaining it.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Proven ability to generate new business through referrals and prospecting.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) relevant to the local market demographics.
