Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues within the branch.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, network devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with bank policies.
- Perform regular system checks, backups, and security updates.
- Document IT procedures, solutions, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with central IT teams for escalated issues and system upgrades.
- Educate end-users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
- Monitor IT equipment inventory and ensure proper asset management.
- Assist in the deployment of new technologies and systems as required.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 18 months of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server).
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation).
- Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of banking applications and core banking systems.
- Experience with basic database management (SQL).
