Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple IT projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed tasks, resource allocation, schedules, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Manage project resources effectively, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure optimal performance.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership, providing regular status updates and reports.
- Ensure adherence to CGI's project management methodologies, quality standards, and governance processes.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management.
- Proven ability to manage complex IT projects with diverse teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience in IT consulting or a large enterprise environment.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with cloud-based projects (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset given the Quebec location.
