Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and operational objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance, identifying key trends, variances, and risks.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership, providing clear and concise summaries of financial results.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support for decision-making.
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within finance operations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating plans and long-range strategic plans.
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle ERP).
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is highly desirable.
- Experience in the technology or financial services industry.
- Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights or other planning software.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
