Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibration on highly complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify root causes of issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Utilize schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools to complete repairs and system adjustments.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and process changes accurately and thoroughly.
- Support the installation and qualification of new equipment and process technologies.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality standards, and cleanroom procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed.
Required Skills
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or technician roles in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly with lithography, etch, or deposition tools.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience with process control systems and automation.
- Certifications in electronics, robotics, or industrial controls.
