Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibration on highly complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify root causes of issues and implement permanent solutions.
  • Utilize schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools to complete repairs and system adjustments.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and process changes accurately and thoroughly.
  • Support the installation and qualification of new equipment and process technologies.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, quality standards, and cleanroom procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members as needed.

Required Skills

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent military experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or technician roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with proven troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly with lithography, etch, or deposition tools.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
