Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for security alerts and anomalies.
  • Perform initial triage, investigation, and incident response for detected security incidents, including malware analysis, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
  • Develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to enhance Intel’s overall security posture.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, network, and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all phases of system development and operation.
  • Generate detailed incident reports and provide recommendations for remediation and prevention of future incidents.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a cybersecurity role, specifically in incident response, security operations, or threat analysis.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles.
  • Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
  • Familiarity with common attack vectors, security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
