Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor complex automated and semi-automated machinery for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Monitor process parameters, identify deviations, and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products and in-process materials, adhering to strict specifications.
- Load and unload materials into machines, ensuring proper alignment and material handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, cleanroom protocols, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment malfunctions and process anomalies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure machine longevity and reliability.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with automated machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical instructions and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine interface operation
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics)
- Experience operating machinery in a cleanroom or controlled environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) data monitoring
- Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar high-precision industry
