Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our innovative team in Fort Worth, Texas. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly, setup, and calibration of complex test equipment and experimental apparatus.
  • Execute detailed test plans and procedures for semiconductor devices, components, and systems.
  • Collect, record, and analyze experimental data with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory instruments, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and specialized semiconductor test equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist engineers in the development and refinement of new test methodologies and processes.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and observations thoroughly and clearly.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality standards within the laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and other technicians.

Required Skills

  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in electronics, semiconductors, or a related high-tech industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and calibrating standard lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small components and intricate setups.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronic components.
  • Excellent data collection, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
