Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the architectural definition and micro-architectural design of complex digital blocks and sub-systems.
  • Implement RTL (Register Transfer Level) using industry-standard hardware description languages like Verilog/SystemVerilog.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive pre-silicon verification plans and test benches.
  • Conduct power, performance, and area (PPA) analysis and optimization for design targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, and validation engineers to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Debug and resolve design and validation issues encountered during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
  • Document designs, verification methodologies, and test results thoroughly.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in digital logic design principles and circuit theory.
  • Strong command of Verilog or SystemVerilog for RTL design.
  • Experience with ASIC design flow, including synthesis, static timing analysis, and formal verification.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools from vendors like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL for automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with processor architecture, memory controllers, or high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, DDR).
  • Familiarity with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) or other advanced verification methodologies.
  • Experience with FPGA design and emulation platforms.
