Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for various Intel products.
- Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces and complex systems.
- Conduct thorough electrical validation, characterization, and debug of silicon and platform hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including layout, firmware, software, and test engineers.
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze data, and generate comprehensive engineering reports.
- Define product specifications, architectural requirements, and design methodologies.
- Optimize designs for performance, power efficiency, cost, and manufacturability.
- Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and results.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical circuit design and validation.
- Proficiency with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics) for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC concepts.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with high-speed serial links (PCIe, USB, DDR).
- Familiarity with FPGA or ASIC design flows.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes.
- Programming skills in Python, Perl, or MATLAB for automation and data analysis.
- Experience with power delivery network (PDN) design and optimization.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor industry.
