Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calling, email, and digital channels.
  • Manage a pipeline of leads and meticulously track sales activities and customer information in CRM software.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate TELUS solutions.
  • Present compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations to close deals and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed on new products, services, and industry trends to effectively position TELUS offerings.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Accurately process orders, contracts, and sales documentation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a related customer-facing sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • High-speed internet access and a dedicated home office space conducive to professional work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience selling telecommunications or technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with various sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling).
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset.
  • Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses (SMB).
