Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team in Haifa for an immediate start. This critical role involves optimizing complex operational processes across our manufacturing and R&D divisions, enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving productivity. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives, applying advanced analytical techniques, and implementing lean methodologies to streamline workflows and boost overall organizational performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to identify bottlenecks, develop innovative solutions, and ensure their successful execution. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize production processes, workflows, and resource utilization to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Design and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve quality, and shorten lead times.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and propose data-driven solutions for operational issues.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, from conception through implementation and monitoring, ensuring sustainable results.
- Conduct time studies, capacity planning, and facility layout optimization to support production scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, logistics, and quality teams to integrate new technologies and processes seamlessly into existing operations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations for management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering with Industrial Engineering specialization)
- 3+ years of professional experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within manufacturing or high-tech industries
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
- Familiarity with production planning, capacity analysis, and facility layout design
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant industrial engineering software (e.g., simulation tools, AutoCAD)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or an MBA with a focus on Operations Management
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Proficiency in Hebrew (reading, writing, and speaking) for effective communication within the local team
- Prior experience in the defense, aerospace, or automotive industry
