Global Vision Immigration Inc. is actively seeking a meticulous and highly organized Immigration Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic team in South Edmonton, Edmonton. As an Immigration Documentation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, submission, and management of various immigration applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to strict deadlines set by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and other provincial bodies. You will be instrumental in collecting, reviewing, and organizing a vast array of client documents, completing intricate application forms, and maintaining comprehensive client files. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and organize all necessary client documentation for various immigration applications (e.g., permanent residency, temporary residency, study permits, work permits).
  • Accurately complete and prepare immigration forms, ensuring all information is consistent and compliant with IRCC and provincial guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedural changes, particularly concerning documentation requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to request missing information, clarify details, and provide updates on their application status.
  • Manage and update client files and case management systems with precision and confidentiality.
  • Assist Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) in preparing submission packages for various government bodies.
  • Monitor application deadlines and ensure timely submission of documents to avoid delays.
  • Conduct preliminary research on specific immigration programs and document requirements as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to case management, including scheduling appointments, drafting correspondence, and organizing client meetings.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an immigration-related role, with a focus on documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with case management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Canadian immigration forms and documentation requirements.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive client information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in legal studies, paralegal, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or immigration lawyer.
  • Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin, Tagalog) is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of various provincial nominee programs and their documentation nuances.
