Job Description
SystemSpecs Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled ICT Technician to join our dynamic IT support team in Abuja. In this crucial on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for our internal users, providing essential technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners), operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and software applications.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN access.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory and other relevant systems.
- Assist in setting up and configuring new workstations and conducting IT equipment inventory.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT best practices and software usage.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and system configurations accurately in the IT service management system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and contribute to infrastructure projects.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and data privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for Windows OS environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
