Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.
- Perform system administration tasks including user account management, permissions, and software deployments.
- Monitor IT infrastructure for performance, security, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices, servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures, including regular patching, updates, and vulnerability assessments.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on various software applications and IT best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT support or system administration (3+ years)
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience with hardware diagnostics and repair for desktops, laptops, and servers
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
