Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and managing HR correspondence.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communication, and managing job postings.
  • Support new hire onboarding activities, preparing new hire packets, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as needed, gathering and analyzing relevant HR metrics.
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to appropriate HR personnel.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings, events, and training sessions, including room setup, material preparation, and attendee communication.
  • Assist with employee relations tasks, including maintaining documentation and supporting disciplinary processes as required.
  • Process HR-related invoices and expenses, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely payments.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative or HR support role (1-2 years).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience supporting recruitment activities.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., aPHR, PHR) is a plus.
