Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable AI/ML models and solutions using Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Utilize machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras to build, train, and evaluate models.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) leveraging APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and deliver impactful AI applications.
- Conduct data exploration, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to prepare datasets for model training and evaluation.
- Perform model validation, testing, and deployment, ensuring optimal performance, accuracy, and reliability.
- Monitor deployed AI models, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements and optimizations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
- Contribute to the development of best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the AI community at IBM.
- Present findings and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, clearly articulating complex AI concepts and their business value.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with programming languages like Python (with relevant libraries for AI/ML) and/or Java.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency with major ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data manipulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with IBM Watson services (e.g., Watson Assistant, Watson Discovery, Watson Natural Language Understanding).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
