Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Clearwater, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and expense analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA licensure.
