Job Description
Bell Canada is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team in Downtown, Naperville. This is an immediate start position, requiring a professional who can hit the ground running and provide critical support to our Human Resources department. As an HR Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of daily HR functions, contributing to a positive and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new employee packets, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, directing complex issues to appropriate HR specialists.
- Support HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement activities, and training and development programs.
- Process HR-related documentation, such as changes in employment status, terminations, and benefits enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist in organizing company events and employee recognition programs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Workday or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, HRCI-aPHR) is a plus.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Prior experience in a telecommunications or technology industry.
