Are you a strategic HR professional with a passion for driving organizational success through people-centric initiatives? FactSet, a global leader in financial data and analytics, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Norwalk, CT. In this pivotal office-based role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to assigned business units, collaborating closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. You will be instrumental in translating business needs into comprehensive HR solutions, covering a broad spectrum of HR disciplines including talent management, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, compensation, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact and strategic partner for assigned business units, offering expert guidance and support on all HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to deeply understand strategic priorities and translate them into effective, data-driven HR solutions and programs.
  • Lead and support talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance reviews, and career development programs.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Drive change management initiatives, assisting leaders and employees through organizational transitions and restructures with empathy and strategic foresight.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of compensation strategies, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices aligned with market trends.
  • Facilitate and deliver training and development programs to enhance leadership capabilities and employee skills, fostering continuous learning.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies, mitigating risks effectively.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across HR functions.
  • Actively foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment that promotes high employee engagement and retention.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years explicitly as an HR Business Partner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible relationships with business leaders and employees at all organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and HR compliance requirements (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Proven experience in talent management, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to HR solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience working in the financial services or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with global HR operations and diverse workforces.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving and managing complex change management initiatives.
