Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business units, providing strategic HR guidance and support to leaders and employees.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and promote a high-performance culture.
  • Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and legal compliance.
  • Drive talent management initiatives, including performance reviews, succession planning, leadership development programs, and career progression frameworks.
  • Facilitate organizational design and change management efforts to optimize team effectiveness and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration for assigned groups, ensuring competitive, equitable, and compliant practices.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations) to deliver integrated HR solutions and improve overall HR service delivery.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in HR programs and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, mitigating risks for the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role, preferably within a large, dynamic organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations (federal and state).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, provide strategic advice, and effectively manage complex HR issues.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into practical, effective HR solutions.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of using data to inform decisions and drive outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, or HRCI equivalent (PHR/SPHR).
  • Experience in the consumer goods, entertainment, or a related creative industry.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources Management, MBA).
