Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and coordinating new hire paperwork and orientation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS) and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as needed.
  • Support HR programs and initiatives, such as employee recognition, training sessions, and wellness programs.
  • Process HR-related documentation, including employment verification, leave requests, and performance management forms.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings and events, including room setup, material preparation, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist with payroll-related tasks, including timecard verification and discrepancy resolution.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in Human Resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
