Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-in Housemaid to manage the daily operations and upkeep of a corporate household situated in Ojuwoye, Mushin. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who prides themselves on meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a professional demeanor. The primary goal of this role is to maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment, ensuring the smooth functioning of the household and providing discreet support to the occupants, who are typically corporate executives or guests. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of managing all aspects of household chores, including cleaning, laundry, basic meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and tidying living areas to a high standard.
- Manage all laundry needs, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
- Prepare simple, healthy meals as required and assist with kitchen maintenance and cleanliness.
- Manage grocery shopping and household supplies, ensuring items are always stocked and organized.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all rooms, including bedrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces (e.g., patios, balconies).
- Assist with special projects, such as deep cleaning, seasonal organization, or preparing for guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs promptly to the relevant contact person.
- Handle guest services, including preparing rooms, offering refreshments, and ensuring their comfort during their stay.
- Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding household affairs.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards in all tasks.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling effectively.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience as a housemaid or domestic assistant, preferably in a corporate or high-net-worth private household.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Proven reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
