Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional and dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our vibrant team at Club Med Sandpiper Bay, a premier luxury property nestled in beautiful Port St. Lucie, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to luxury property standards.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service excellence.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders as needed and minimizing waste.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and swift resolution of any property-related issues.
  • Implement and enforce all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and guest experience.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a strong capacity to motivate, train, and develop a diverse team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with guests and staff.
  • Proficiency with housekeeping management software and basic computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish or French is a plus).
  • Familiarity with luxury brand standards and guest service expectations.
  • Certification in hospitality or housekeeping management.
