Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Staff to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our guest rooms and public areas. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation and the unique benefit of provided staff quarters, eliminating the need for a separate accommodation expense. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times. Prior experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Replenishing amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
  • Cleaning and maintaining public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Handling laundry and linen according to hotel procedures.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
  • Adhering to all hotel safety and security procedures.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Working cooperatively with other housekeeping staff.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
  • Excellent cleaning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications
