Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Full-Time Housekeeping Cleaner to join our vibrant team at Selina Miami River. As a Housekeeping Cleaner, you will be the backbone of our guest experience, ensuring every corner of our property, from private rooms to lively common areas, radiates cleanliness and comfort. This role is crucial in upholding Selina’s high standards of hygiene and presentation, directly contributing to our guests’ satisfaction and overall impression of their stay. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arrivals, maintaining the pristine condition of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, and communal kitchens, and assisting with laundry operations. Beyond just cleaning, you’ll be an integral part of a team that creates a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, according to Selina’s established standards and procedures.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, communal kitchens, and restrooms to ensure they are always presentable.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items found in rooms or public areas to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens and towels.
- Maintain organized and stocked linen closets and cleaning carts.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
