Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas according to De Rigg Place’s high standards of cleanliness.
- Change bed linen and make beds neatly and efficiently.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, or pass them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties as required.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
