Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas according to De Rigg Place’s high standards of cleanliness.
  • Change bed linen and make beds neatly and efficiently.
  • Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers, and bathtubs.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  • Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, or pass them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping trolleys and storage areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Assist with laundry duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
