As a Housekeeper – Room Cleaning & Service, you will play a crucial role in upholding the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that define our boutique hotel experience.
This isn’t just about cleaning; it’s about crafting an immaculate, welcoming sanctuary for our guests. You will be responsible for meticulously preparing and servicing our guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every space meets our exacting standards of hygiene, comfort, and presentation. From making beds with precision to sanitising bathrooms to perfection, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all fixtures sparkle, your work directly contributes to our guests’ comfort and overall impression of their stay.
You will become an integral part of our operational team, working efficiently and autonomously while collaborating with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, polishing furniture, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies and amenities according to established guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate department.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas, trolleys, and linen closets.
- Sort, count, and store linen, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Adhere to all hotel safety, security, and hygiene procedures and policies.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning tasks as required.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
