Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Hotel Reservation Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of hotel reservations, from initial inquiries to guest check-in. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing hotel reservations through various channels (phone, email, online booking systems)
  • Providing exceptional customer service to guests throughout the reservation process
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
  • Maintaining accurate records of reservations and guest information
  • Collaborating with other departments (front desk, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Processing payments and managing billing accurately
  • Preparing daily and weekly reports on reservation activity
  • Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to optimize reservation management
  • Staying up-to-date on hotel policies and procedures

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using hotel reservation systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work accurately under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar role
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and systems
  • Experience in handling guest complaints and resolving issues effectively
