Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless check-in/check-out process. Key Responsibilities
- Managing guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Handling guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Processing payments and managing financial transactions.
- Maintaining accurate records of guest information and reservations.
- Responding to guest complaints and resolving issues effectively.
- Ensuring the reception area is clean, well-organized, and welcoming.
- Assisting with other tasks as needed, including luggage handling and concierge services.
- Maintaining a high level of confidentiality regarding guest information.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems (PMS)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a receptionist in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of Opera or other hotel management systems
- Experience handling cash and credit card transactions
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
