Job Description

The Hotel Receptionist & Reservations Coordinator at Goblin Hill Villas at San San is the first point of contact for our esteemed guests and plays a pivotal role in shaping their overall experience. We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality in a luxury villa setting. This role is far more than just checking guests in and out; it involves curating a seamless and memorable journey from the initial inquiry to their departure. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of front desk operations, including efficient guest registration, handling diverse inquiries, coordinating seamlessly with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage departments, and resolving any guest concerns with grace and efficiency, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Handle all incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with professionalism and provide accurate information about the resort and local attractions.
  • Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the hotel management system.
  • Manage room inventory and allocations to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
  • Process payments, manage guest accounts, and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
  • Address guest complaints and issues promptly, courteously, and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B) to ensure guest requests are met promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
  • Provide concierge services, including arranging tours, transportation, and restaurant bookings.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure data privacy.
  • Prepare daily reports and reconcile transactions as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Front Desk Agent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (especially Spanish or French)
  • Familiarity with the Port Antonio area and local attractions

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles for front desk operations
