The Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our dynamic Front Desk team. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-outs, processing payments accurately and addressing any final queries.
  • Handle all incoming calls, emails, and direct inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Manage staff lodging requests, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and availability.
  • Assist guests with reservations, changes, and cancellations, ensuring all details are accurately updated in the system.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for swift and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Concierge) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment according to hotel procedures.
  • Generate daily reports and maintain accurate guest records.
  • Adhere strictly to all hotel policies, procedures, and security guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software (e.g., Opera PMS, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
