Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to Geejam’s luxury standards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive guest service strategies to consistently exceed expectations and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Manage, train, and motivate a diverse team across all departments, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and control operational budgets, expenses, and inventory to maximize profitability and maintain financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, transforming challenges into opportunities for service recovery.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for revenue growth and brand positioning.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities, ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal.
  • Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize operational workflows and service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in a luxury or boutique hotel setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating staff.
  • Exceptional guest service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management, revenue optimization, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Deep understanding of luxury hospitality trends and guest expectations.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in English and another widely spoken language.
