Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting routine inspections of hotel facilities, identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
- Performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Carrying out repairs and replacements of fixtures, fittings, and equipment as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used, costs incurred, and time spent.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of maintenance areas and equipment.
- Assisting with other maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
- Working collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in hotel or building maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance problems.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training in maintenance or a related field.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Experience with building management systems (BMS).
