Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a future Radisson Blu property or a premium hotel under the Radisson Hotel Group umbrella within the vibrant community of Longueuil, Quebec. This pivotal leadership role requires a visionary professional with a proven track record in luxury or upper-upscale hotel operations, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and an unwavering commitment to unparalleled guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, service quality, and operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve financial targets, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, development, and performance management of all hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Radisson Hotel Group brand standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests, community stakeholders, vendors, and ownership groups.
  • Implement effective sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Proactively manage guest feedback and resolve issues to enhance guest loyalty and reputation.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and operational reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a full-service, upper-upscale, or luxury hotel environment.
  • Demonstrated strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front office, F&B, housekeeping, and sales.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS, POS, CRM).
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) given the Longueuil, Quebec location.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience with Radisson Hotel Group brands or similar international hotel chains.
  • Strong local market knowledge of Longueuil and the broader Montreal area hospitality landscape.
  • Mastery of revenue management strategies and techniques.
  • Proven ability to manage pre-opening operations for a new hotel property.
