Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Hotel General Manager to lead our esteemed Radisson Blu Hotel Montreal, Downtown. As the General Manager, you will be the strategic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, from financial performance and guest satisfaction to team leadership and brand standards adherence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hotel professionals, fostering a culture of 'Yes I Can!' service excellence and employee engagement.
- Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, sales, marketing, engineering, and human resources.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue goals, optimize profitability, and enhance market share.
- Manage financial performance, including budget preparation, forecasting, expense control, and regular reporting.
- Ensure consistent delivery of superior guest experiences and maintain high guest satisfaction scores (GSS).
- Uphold and exceed Radisson Blu brand standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain corporate, leisure, and group business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, community stakeholders, vendors, and local tourism organizations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Oversee property maintenance and capital expenditure projects to ensure the hotel's assets are well-maintained and enhanced.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure all areas meet cleanliness, safety, and operational standards.
- Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively to ensure a positive brand image.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale or luxury hotel setting.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management expertise.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales, marketing, and guest service principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive guest satisfaction and foster brand loyalty.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written).

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Existing network within the Montreal hospitality market.
