Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and register guests, assign rooms, and issue keys.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations through the property management system.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Process payments, handle cash, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Perform wake-up calls and relay messages to guests.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with hotel property management systems (e.g., OnQ, Opera).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
