Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and register guests, assigning rooms and issuing room keys with efficiency and a friendly attitude.
- Process check-ins and check-outs promptly and accurately, handling all necessary financial transactions.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and directions.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and a problem-solving approach to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate guest records and room availability information.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, concierge) to fulfill guest requests.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and provide recommendations for dining and activities.
- Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations with meticulous attention to detail.
- Operate the hotel's property management system (PMS) and other front office equipment efficiently.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures, ensuring the well-being of guests and colleagues.
- Process guest payments, managing cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy.
- Perform night audit duties as required, including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and quick learning of new software

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a hotel front desk or guest services role
- Fluency in both English and French is highly advantageous due to our diverse guest base
- Knowledge of Marriott's property management systems (e.g., Opera) is a plus
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
