Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering immediate assistance with luggage and transportation needs.
  • Safely and efficiently handle, store, and deliver guest luggage to and from rooms and various hotel areas.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, restaurants, and events in Moncton.
  • Assist guests with valet parking services, if applicable, ensuring vehicles are handled with utmost care and security.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area, ensuring a polished first impression.
  • Coordinate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping teams to fulfill guest requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues courteously and professionally, escalating complex situations when necessary.
  • Assist with package delivery and mail handling for guests and internal departments.
  • Adhere strictly to all hotel safety and security procedures, including luggage handling protocols.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, upholding the brand standards of Delta Hotels by Marriott Beauséjour.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg) for extended periods.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, guest-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, particularly in a hotel setting.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record, for potential valet services.
  • Proficiency in French and/or other languages is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with Moncton and surrounding New Brunswick attractions.
