Delta Hotels by Marriott Beauséjour is actively seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Bell Service Carrier to join our esteemed team. This pivotal front-line role is crucial in creating an unforgettable first and last impression for our guests. As a Bell Service Carrier, you will be the initial point of contact, embodying the professionalism and genuine hospitality that defines our brand.
Your day will be diverse, focusing on assisting guests with their luggage, providing comprehensive hotel information, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their stay in Moncton. You’ll ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience, managing luggage efficiently and carefully. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs, often going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering immediate assistance with luggage and transportation needs.
- Safely and efficiently handle, store, and deliver guest luggage to and from rooms and various hotel areas.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, restaurants, and events in Moncton.
- Assist guests with valet parking services, if applicable, ensuring vehicles are handled with utmost care and security.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area, ensuring a polished first impression.
- Coordinate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Housekeeping teams to fulfill guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues courteously and professionally, escalating complex situations when necessary.
- Assist with package delivery and mail handling for guests and internal departments.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel safety and security procedures, including luggage handling protocols.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, upholding the brand standards of Delta Hotels by Marriott Beauséjour.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg) for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, guest-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role, particularly in a hotel setting.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record, for potential valet services.
- Proficiency in French and/or other languages is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Moncton and surrounding New Brunswick attractions.
