Key Responsibilities

  • Execute merchandising plans and directives to ensure product displays are visually appealing and follow company standards.
  • Unload, sort, and stock merchandise efficiently and accurately, ensuring shelves are always full and organized.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor, including aisles, display areas, and backstock areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify out-of-stock items, and assist with inventory management tasks.
  • Assist customers in locating products and provide basic product information when needed.
  • Operate power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, order picker) safely after proper training and certification.
  • Participate in store resets, promotional setups, and seasonal merchandise changes.
  • Collaborate with team members and store leadership to achieve department and store goals.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory lookup and internal systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail merchandising, stocking, or a related field.
  • Experience operating power equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, order picker).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with home improvement products.
