Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on store equipment, including HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and various operational machinery.
 - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
 - Conduct inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance concerns before they become major problems.
 - Execute repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, fixtures, and structural elements.
 - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
 - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
 - Assist with minor construction, renovation, and painting projects as needed.
 - Collaborate with store management and external contractors on larger maintenance projects.
 - Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring availability for necessary repairs.
 - Provide support for emergency repairs and system failures outside of regular hours when required.
 
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a retail or commercial setting.
 - Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
 - Expertise in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
 - Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
 - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
 - Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
 - Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
 - Valid driver's license.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
 - Familiarity with building management systems (BMS).
 - Experience with forklift operation or other heavy equipment.
 - OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
 - Prior experience in a large retail store environment.
