This role requires a commitment to flexible working hours, including some evenings and weekends, to ensure our clients receive continuous support tailored to their routines. A driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are highly desirable, though not always essential depending on your specific client placements within Hampstead. We provide all necessary PPE and adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of both our staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication following appropriate training and protocols, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with light housework, laundry, and maintaining a tidy and safe home environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as outlined in their care plan.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, or for grocery shopping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and communicate effectively with the care team and management.
- Report any changes in the client's condition or circumstances promptly and accurately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
