Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the campus, aligning with Ecolint's mission and values.
  • Oversee all academic programmes, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, particularly within the IB framework.
  • Manage and mentor faculty and staff, fostering a culture of professional growth, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Ensure the well-being, safety, and holistic development of all students.
  • Cultivate a strong, inclusive, and engaged school community involving parents, students, and external partners.
  • Manage campus operations, including budgeting, facilities, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the recruitment, retention, and performance management of campus personnel.
  • Represent the campus within the wider Ecolint community and to external stakeholders.
  • Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Actively participate in the provided leadership training and mentorship programmes.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in an educational setting (e.g., Deputy Head, Head of Department, Principal).
  • Demonstrated experience with international curricula, preferably the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and personal growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Educational Leadership or a related field.
  • Proficiency in French or another major European language.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual international school environment.
  • Familiarity with Swiss educational regulations and cultural context.
