Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, feeding, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Monitor and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and promptly report any significant deviations or concerns to the nursing staff.
  • Document observations, care provided, and patient responses diligently and accurately in patient electronic records.
  • Support registered nurses and other medical staff in various clinical procedures and tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe patient environment, ensuring strict adherence to infection control policies and procedures.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a reassuring and comfortable atmosphere during their stay.
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth and compassionate transition for individuals.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to patient calls and requests, demonstrating empathy, efficiency, and a patient-first approach.
  • Escort patients safely to various departments within the facility for tests, treatments, or appointments.
