As a Relationship Manager at GTBank, you will be at the forefront of our client engagement strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, understanding their unique financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions. You will be instrumental in deepening client relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and expanding our market share in the Calabar region. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth individual and corporate clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones, ensuring consistent business growth.
  • Conduct thorough financial needs analyses for clients and recommend suitable GTBank products and services, including loans, investments, and digital banking solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets for deposits, loans, and other financial products.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, ensuring compliance with GTBank's credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor client accounts regularly, identify potential risks, and proactively address client concerns and queries.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings to provide competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., credit, operations, product development) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Represent GTBank at industry events and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster new business opportunities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, including retail, corporate, and investment banking.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and credit appraisal.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
