Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor sophisticated manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and batch records.
  • Perform in-process checks, sampling, and quality control activities to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety guidelines, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Execute minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including batch records, logs, and quality reports.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, conducting regular housekeeping tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Identify and report any deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the manufacturing process.
  • Assist with material handling, including receiving, transferring, and dispensing raw materials and components.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals, food, or FMCG.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures precisely.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vocational training or a technical qualification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline.
  • Prior experience working in a GMP-regulated facility.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with automated control systems or HMI interfaces.
  • Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
