Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sophisticated manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and batch records.
- Perform in-process checks, sampling, and quality control activities to ensure product specifications are met.
- Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety guidelines, and all regulatory requirements.
- Execute minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including batch records, logs, and quality reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, conducting regular housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure seamless production flow.
- Identify and report any deviations, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the manufacturing process.
- Assist with material handling, including receiving, transferring, and dispensing raw materials and components.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals, food, or FMCG.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures precisely.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and team collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or a technical qualification in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline.
- Prior experience working in a GMP-regulated facility.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with automated control systems or HMI interfaces.
- Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
