Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring a smooth check-in process and positive first impression.
- Assist guests with departure procedures, including luggage retrieval and arranging transportation, facilitating a seamless departure.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel public areas, including lobbies, entrances, and guest corridors, upholding high aesthetic standards.
- Provide shuttle service for guests to and from designated local points of interest or transportation hubs, ensuring safe and timely transport.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, escalating issues as necessary to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Support the Front Desk and Bell Desk operations as needed, ensuring efficient guest flow and departmental synergy.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's exterior grounds and common areas, reporting any maintenance issues to preserve property appearance and safety.
- Ensure all guest services equipment (e.g., luggage carts, shuttle vehicles) are in good working order and regularly maintained.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel safety and security procedures and policies, ensuring a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality guest experience, fostering a teamwork-oriented atmosphere.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 lbs, and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (essential for shuttle service responsibilities).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel bell desk or guest services role within a reputable hotel brand.
- Knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Concord, CA and the wider Bay Area.
