Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store fresh produce deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring proper rotation and presentation.
- Monitor produce quality, removing damaged or expired items and maintaining cleanliness of the department.
- Assist customers with produce selection, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
- Operate basic produce equipment such as scales, wrap machines, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by assisting colleagues as needed and communicating effectively.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with courtesy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.

- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
