Key Responsibilities
- Navigate to various grocery stores within the Montreal area to pick up pre-staged grocery orders.
- Verify order accuracy, ensuring all items are present and in good condition.
- Safely and efficiently transport grocery orders using your personal vehicle to customer locations.
- Deliver orders directly to customers' doors with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery updates, substitutions, or any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your personal vehicle for reliable service.
- Manage your delivery schedule through the Instacart Shopper app.
- Handle groceries with care to prevent damage or spoilage during transit.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, SUV, minivan) with valid insurance.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) without assistance.
- Proficiency with a smartphone (iOS or Android) for using the Instacart Shopper app.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and navigate efficiently using GPS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles is a plus.
