Job Description
Dashen Bank is looking for an exceptionally talented and highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our vibrant marketing and communications team. Your work will span across various critical channels, including engaging digital campaigns, dynamic social media content, intuitive website assets, impactful print advertisements, clear internal communications, and a variety of promotional materials that drive customer engagement and brand recognition. We are specifically seeking someone who can not only bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table but also possesses the acumen to translate complex financial concepts and services into clear, understandable, and aesthetically pleasing designs that simplify information for our diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality visual content for digital platforms including social media, website, email marketing, and online campaigns.
- Develop creative concepts and graphic designs for print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and advertisements.
- Ensure all visual outputs adhere strictly to Dashen Bank's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand image.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual designs.
- Create engaging infographics, illustrations, and animations (basic) to simplify complex financial information.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Stay updated with industry trends and design tools to bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Provide design support for internal communication materials and corporate presentations.
- Review and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Maintain an organized archive of all design files and assets.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design projects and a keen eye for aesthetics
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with designing for both digital and print media
- Fluency in English and Amharic
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
- Experience in the financial services industry or a highly regulated environment
- Basic knowledge of video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) and motion graphics
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles for web and mobile applications
